brisbane to springbrook national park Page 4

From Brisbane to Springbrook National Park is about 90–100 km and roughly 1 hr 20 min via the M1 to Mudgeeraba, then the steep, twisty Springbrook Road.

Prefer scenery over speed? Head via Nerang–Murwillumbah Rd and the Numinbah Valley; it’s longer (about 1 hr 45 min) but properly pretty, with the Natural Bridge turn-off en route.

Fuel up around Nerang or Mudgeeraba—there’s no servo up the mountain—and watch for fog, fallen branches, and hairpins that think they’re a corkscrew.

Parking is straightforward at the main lookouts and walks (Purling Brook Falls, Best of All Lookout), but weekends can be chockers, so arrive early and pack patience.
