bus to mornington peninsula Page 19

Yes, you can bus it to the Mornington Peninsula, but it’s a two-step dance.

From Melbourne CBD, take the train to Frankston, then jump on bus Route 788 towards Portsea, which runs down the bay side via Seaford, Dromana, Rosebud and Sorrento.

Heading specifically to Mornington or Mount Martha? Buses 781 and 785 run between Frankston and those suburbs.

Use a myki and check Public Transport Victoria for current timetables, because buses, like seagulls, follow their own mysterious logic.

It’s straightforward, reasonably frequent, and far cheaper than parking—just allow extra time if you’re riding all the way to the tip.
