buying a car interstate vic to wa Page 4

Buying a car interstate from Victoria to Western Australia is like jumping through flaming hoops while juggling license plates. You'll need to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy and complies with WA's regulations — including a compliance inspection and registration transfer. Don't forget to organise temporary permits to legally drive it back, and be prepared to pay stamp duty, which varies by state. Transport costs or a professional vehicle shipping service might also add to your bill, so factor that in. Lastly, check for any outstanding fines or encumbrances to avoid nasty surprises.
