buying a second hand car qld Page 180

Buying a second-hand car in Queensland is like navigating a minefield of dodgy deals and hidden rust. First, check the Personal Property Security Register (PPSR) to ensure the car isn't stolen or encumbered. Expect prices to vary wildly depending on make, model, and condition; a decent used car will set you back anywhere from $5,000 to $30,000 AUD. Always take it for a thorough test drive and consider a pre-purchase inspection from a reputable mechanic. Don't forget to budget for registration, insurance, and possible repairs. Tradingpost and CarShowroom are your best mates for scoping out options, but keep your wits about you.
