byd solid state battery Page 31

Ah, BYD and their solid state battery ambitions—sounds like the future, doesn’t it? Solid-state batteries promise higher energy density, faster charging times, and improved safety over traditional lithium-ion cells. BYD has been dabbling in solid-state tech, aiming to leapfrog Tesla and others, but as of now, these batteries are still largely in the development and testing phase rather than mass production.

Don’t expect to find a BYD car with solid-state batteries on Tradingpost just yet, but keep an eye on announcements. If they pull this off, it could revolutionize the Australian EV market with longer ranges and shorter waits at the charger. Meanwhile, official specs and release dates remain closely guarded secrets, so stay tuned and maybe keep your wallet ready.
