can a learner driver have passengers in qld Page 7

Yes—learner drivers in Queensland can have passengers, provided they’ve got a supervising driver with an open licence riding shotgun.

You must display L‑plates, keep a 0.00 BAC, and the supervisor has to sit in the front passenger seat paying attention like a hawk with a coffee habit.

There’s no special curfew or headcount cap for learners; just make sure every backside has a seatbelt and there are enough seats to go around.

Phones are off-limits for the learner, and if your passengers turn into a karaoke troupe, pull over and restore peace before it restores your demerit points.

Simple: supervise, seatbelts, sober, sensible—then carry on.
