can p-platers use bluetooth qld Page 73

Ah, the age-old question for P-platers in Queensland: can you use Bluetooth while driving? The short answer is yes, but with a hefty dose of caution. Queensland law permits P-platers to use hands-free devices, including Bluetooth, but you must not physically hold the device while driving.

Using Bluetooth to connect your phone for calls or music is allowed, as long as it doesn’t distract you from the road. Remember, P-platers are under stricter scrutiny, so any careless use can land you in hot water. Keep it hands-free, keep your eyes on the road, and you should be fine.
