Short answer: no—you can’t get your car licence early in Victoria, even for work. The minimum age for a probationary (solo) licence is 18, and there’s no special “work licence” to drive solo before that.
If you’re 16–17, your only option is a Learner Permit (with a supervising driver), and yes, that still applies even if the boss swears you’re “mature for your age.” If your issue is a suspension, Victoria doesn’t do hardship licences either; you might be able to elect a Good Behaviour period for demerit points, but that’s not a free pass. Driving on private property is fine, public roads are not—no matter how urgent the shift. Talk to VicRoads for any edge-case exemptions, but don’t hold your breath.
