Yes—if it’s a repairable write-off in Queensland, you can re-register it after proper repairs and a Transport and Main Roads Written-Off Vehicle Inspection (WOVI).
A statutory write-off is a hard no for road registration, so don’t try to resurrect the automotive equivalent of a submarine.
You’ll need proof of ownership, repair receipts and photos, then book and pay for the WOVI; after it passes, get a safety certificate and complete the registration paperwork.
Expect higher insurance scrutiny and grumpier resale, because the VIN stays branded on the PPSR, and interstate write-offs usually need to clear QLD’s WOVI too.
