Car Next Door is a peer-to-peer car sharing service that aims to make car ownership as obsolete as a rotary phone. Instead of buying your own vehicle, you rent someone else's, often parked just around the corner. The upside? You dodge the usual car expenses like insurance and maintenance, and you can pick from a variety of cars depending on your mood and needs.

However, user experiences vary. Some praise the convenience and cost savings, while others grumble about availability and occasional hidden fees. If you’re considering hopping on this sharing bandwagon, have a squiz at user reviews on Tradingpost or CarShowroom to see if it fits your lifestyle.
