car photography tips Page 2

So you want to make a car look like it just rolled off a glossy magazine cover and not a dusty driveway? First, ditch the midday sun—soft morning or evening light is your best friend for those slick reflections and deep shadows. Get low and experiment with angles; a car’s curves love a cheeky twinkle from a low vantage point. Don’t forget to clean that beast—nothing kills the mood like dirt and smudges. And finally, play with your background; a clutter-free or dramatic setting will make your car pop like a star at a gala. For more inspiration, browse galleries on Tradingpost or CarShowroom.
