Out of juice? Join the club—just do it safely. Pull over, hazards on, and don’t keep cranking the starter like it owes you money. For petrol cars, adding 5–10 litres and a few ignition cycles will usually get fuel back through; for diesels, you may need to prime the system or bleed it, because high-pressure pumps hate running dry. If it coughs and dies again, stop—overheating fuel pumps isn’t a hobby. Call roadside assist if priming or bleeding isn’t your thing, and consider a jerry can as cheap insurance for next time. And yes, the fuel light wasn’t a friendly suggestion.
