Lost your car registration receipt? Don’t panic—your state’s road authority keeps it tidier than your glovebox ever will.
Log into your account with Service NSW, VicRoads, TMR QLD, DOT WA, Service SA, Access Canberra, Transport TAS or NT MVR, then find your vehicle and download the payment receipt or tax invoice.
Paid in person at a service centre or post office? You can request a duplicate receipt—bring ID and your rego number to make life easier.
For reimbursements or fleet paperwork, make sure the receipt shows your plate, VIN, payment date and registration period; a bank statement won’t cut it.
Still stuck? Ring your state authority and they’ll email it faster than you can say “where did I put that?”.
