car that looks like box Page 1037

Ah, the boxy car—a styling choice that screams practicality over pizzazz. Think of models like the Honda Element, Scion xB (though a bit old-school down under), or the Kia Soul. These vehicles are often loved for their spacious interiors and quirky charm. Expect engine sizes ranging from 1.6L to 2.0L, with fuel economy sitting comfortably around 7-9 L/100km. Prices for used boxy cars hover between $7,000 and $20,000 AUD, depending on age and condition, while new equivalents start around $25,000 AUD.
