The Spotify Car Thing is a dedicated in-car controller for Spotify fans who find their car's infotainment system a bit of a chore. It connects via Bluetooth or USB to your phone and lets you control playlists, podcasts, and tracks with a touchscreen, voice commands, or physical buttons. It weighs about 120 grams and has a small, quirky display. It's not a car stereo replacement but a clever gadget for Spotify diehards.

Prices new hover around AUD 100-150, though finding a used one on places like Tradingpost might save you a few bucks. Just remember, it's only useful if you have a Spotify Premium subscription and a compatible phone. For official specs and compatibility, check Spotify's documentation.
