caravan awning replacement Page 39

Replacing a caravan awning is like giving your mobile home a new hat — but one that actually keeps the rain off. Prices for a new awning vary wildly depending on size, material, and brand, but expect to shell out anywhere from $300 to $1,200 AUD for a decent replacement. Used awnings might save you a few bucks and can be found on Tradingpost or CarShowroom, but beware of wear and tear; a leaky awning is a damp disappointment. Key specs to consider include material durability, ease of installation, and UV resistance. For a smooth replacement, measure your caravan's awning rail carefully and consult your caravan's manual or manufacturer recommendations to avoid a sad, saggy situation.
