• Start with the basics: make, model, year, layout, Tare/ATM and service history.
• Audit condition inside and out—water ingress, chassis rust, tyre age, appliances, seals and any off‑grid bling (solar, lithium, DC‑DC).
• Find comparable listings by spec and state on Tradingpost (tradingpost.com.au), and adjust for kilometres towed, mods and regional demand.
• Check compliance plates and recall status; tidy paperwork adds value, mystery subtracts it.

Document your comps and price with a buffer for negotiation; if calls flood in within an hour, you’ve gone too cheap.
