Australia’s Best 4×4 Motorhome – The Conqueror 2.0

Since it’s inception in 2020, the Sherwood Conqueror quickly became our best selling model and a favourite in its appearances at trade shows across the nation, even spreading it’s wings across the pond to the mountains of New Zealand. Based on the Sherwood E-2, our original platform, the Sherwood Conqueror, was designed to take customers further, and thus for longer.  

Now we have replaced the mold, with the Conqueror 2.0, a vast upgrade on the previous model, and taking a Sherwood to the limits of what a 4×4 compact motorhome is capable of. Responding to customer feedback, as well as the latest technology and trends in the industry, the Conqueror 2.0 really is the epitome of design and capability that a motorhome can achieve.  

So what have we done? Everything the E-2 has and more.  

With a redesigned shape, to: 

A) Incorporate more ground clearance and departure angle imperative in a 4×4 motorhome, capable of tackling Australia’s iconic tracks and locations, the Conqueror 2.0 can do a round trip to Cape York without breaking a sweat.

B) Furthermore, our redesigned shape has allowed us to make a larger bed area for additional comfort, as well as an easier bed access with a ladder system leading up to the sleeping area of the motorhome, as well as more hatches and natural light flowing through.

With this new iteration of the Conqueror 2.0, we removed Gas in its entirety from the motorhome, moving to diesel hot water/heating set up, and induction cooktops. Encompassed within that, we have upped the battery capacity up to 400AMP/HR lithium as standard with a Victron battery management system, coupled with a 3000w inverter to run all your various appliances included off grid air conditioning, and all this powered from 600w solar, with the option to add more.  

Featuring once again our enhanced new colour range, with styling designed to make the 5.8m space feel bigger. With this as well, we have reconfigured the storage to gain an additional 200L of storage capacity in the unit, accessible both internally and externally. Furthermore, a more modern bathroom, which makes use of the additional water capacity that we have increased once again, 190L in total, with 80L of that being dedicated fresh water drinking. On the exterior as well, we have created a dedicated water locker on a motorhome in Australia, with your external shower, water tank filler as well as the ability to fill your tank from a mains source.  

The Conqueror 2.0 has once again improved its functionality with two Lagun tables in the interior club lounge on a swivel, as well as added additional bench spaces (both foldable and slide out) from the main cooking surface.  

Functionality has been further enhanced with two Lagun tables in the interior club lounge, offering swivel convenience, and additional foldable and slide-out bench spaces adjacent to the main cooking area. Outside, we’ve expanded the awning size and panoramic windows, flooding the rear of the motorhome with natural light. Adjacent to the water locker, you’ll find the externally vented electrical compartment for easy access to all electrical and battery components. Plus, there’s an optional outdoor entertainment package with a table and power points.
