Ah, the Carrera – a name that drips with Porsche’s racing pedigree and mid-life crises alike. Typically, when someone says "Carrera car," they mean a variant of the Porsche 911, famed for its flat-six engine, rear-engine layout, and a blend of performance and style that’s both timeless and somewhat ostentatious.

Expect horsepower ranging from 379 to over 450 kW in recent models, 0-100 km/h times well under 4 seconds, and prices starting at around AUD 250,000 new, with used examples varying widely based on year and condition.
