cents per km 2018 Page 4

If you mean the ATO cents-per-kilometre method, the rate was 66c/km for 2017–18 and 68c/km for 2018–19. It covers up to 5,000 km per car per financial year—no receipts needed, but keep a sensible record of your work-related kilometres. The rate already bakes in fuel, servicing, tyres, rego, insurance and depreciation, so no double-dipping. Do the maths in AUD, naturally, and if you drove beyond 5,000 km, you’ll need the logbook method. Clear as a Queensland sky after a storm—once the clouds bugger off.
