certificate of inspection qld Page 3

Ah, the Queensland Certificate of Inspection, or COI for the uninitiated—it's the golden ticket for vehicles without a current safety certificate, often imported or rebuilt beasts. This official document ensures your vehicle has passed a thorough safety check, covering brakes, lights, steering, and more, so you're not driving a death trap. In QLD, it's essential when registering certain vehicles that aren't roadworthy by default. To snag one, you'll need to book an inspection with a licensed mechanic or inspection station and fork out roughly $100 to $200. Remember, this isn't a free pass forever; the COI ensures initial safety but doesn't replace regular servicing.
