challenger vs pajero Page 6

Comparing Mitsubishi Challenger vs Pajero? Same DNA, different gym routines—both ladder-frame 4x4s built to cop corrugations without crying.

Challenger

• Pros: thriftier diesel, newer tech in later models, easier to park and thread through city carparks.
• Cons: tighter cabin and third row (if fitted), less plush on long hauls, fewer accessories than the big rig.

Pajero

• Pros: roomier tourer with proven Super Select 4WD, strong towing manners, big cargo area for camping kit.
• Cons: thirstier, older infotainment, and a bit of a barge around town.

Choose by use-case: more towing and space points to Pajero; more daily driving and fuel stinginess favours the Challenger—different compromises, not a single winner.
