To switch your NSW driver licence to a Victorian one, book a visit at a VicRoads Customer Service Centre and bring proof of identity, Victorian residential address, and your NSW licence.

You’re expected to convert within 6 months of becoming a Victorian resident.

They’ll verify your details, take a photo, charge a fee, and you’ll surrender the NSW card; an eyesight test may be required, and P or L conditions carry across.

Full licence holders generally receive the equivalent Victorian class, and motorcycle/heavy entitlements follow if your evidence stacks up.
