charge 5 vs inspire 3

Fitbit Charge 5 vs Inspire 3: one’s the keen coach with a stopwatch, the other’s the chilled PT who reminds you to breathe and drink water.

Both track steps, heart rate and sleep, are swim‑ready to 50 m, and ping your phone’s notifications like a needy budgie.

Charge 5

• Pros: Built‑in GPS for phone‑free runs; brighter, larger AMOLED; more training and health metrics.
• Cons: Costs more; battery life nearer a week; touch‑only controls can be fiddly mid‑run.

Inspire 3

• Pros: Feather‑light and comfy; battery up to around 10 days; far cheaper.
• Cons: No built‑in GPS (needs your phone); smaller screen; fewer advanced metrics.

Choose based on whether you want simple, long‑lasting tracking (Inspire 3) or on‑wrist GPS and extra data (Charge 5). No winner here—just different flavours of “go on, take the stairs”.
