cheap cars for sale brisbane under $5,000

Looking for a bargain in Brisbane under $5,000? You'll mostly find older hatchbacks and sedans with enough quirks to keep a mechanic in business. Expect cars like the Toyota Corolla, Ford Falcon, or Holden Commodore from the early 2000s. Prices for these beasts range from about $2,000 to $5,000 on Tradingpost and CarShowroom, often with high kilometres and the odd cosmetic mishap.

Remember, at this budget, things like rust, worn suspension, and electrical gremlins are par for the course. Always get a pre-purchase inspection unless you fancy gambling your wallet and sanity. Happy hunting!
