cheaper electric Page 3

Looking for a budget-friendly electric vehicle? The market’s buzzing with options that won’t have you selling a kidney. For new cars, you might peek at the MG ZS EV or the Nissan Leaf, both hovering around the $40,000 to $50,000 mark in Australia. Used electric cars can be snagged for less, sometimes dipping under $30,000 if you’re lucky and patient scouring Tradingpost or CarShowroom.

Keep in mind, ‘cheaper’ often means compromises—smaller battery packs, limited range, or fewer bells and whistles. Don’t forget to factor in the lower running costs and government incentives that can sweeten the deal.
