cheapest 7-seater australia 2023

Chasing the cheapest 7‑seater in Australia for 2023? You’re shopping the base end of town, where value talks and soft-touch plastics take a sick day.

New, the LDV D90 2WD petrol is often advertised around AUD 36k–40k drive‑away, with the Mitsubishi Outlander ES 7‑seat hovering in the high‑30s to low‑40s plus on‑roads; Mahindra’s XUV700 also launched sharply in the mid‑to‑high‑30s depending on spec. Used, older Outlanders, X‑Trails and Carnivals can start from about AUD 7k–15k, with tidier late‑model examples in the AUD 15k–25k bracket. Caveat: the cheapest new trims often skip nicer safety/tech packs and sip fuel like it’s happy hour—budget for the spec you actually want. Always confirm current drive‑away pricing in your state and warranty coverage before you sign anything.
