cheapest cars in melbourne Page 4

Looking for the cheapest cars in Melbourne? Fine — for brand-new city cars expect to pay roughly $18,000–$25,000 AUD, typically with small 1.0–1.5 L engines and modest fuel use. If your budget is truly tight, the used market is where miracles (and disappointments) live: project cars can start from around $2,000, while tidy, reliable runabouts are usually in the $5,000–$12,000 range. Check local listings on Tradingpost or CarShowroom, and always factor in registration, insurance and likely repairs — a cheap buy can turn expensive fast. Get a pre-purchase inspection (ServiceCentral can help) and haggle like your wallet depends on it.
