cheapest new suv australia 2023 Page 9

Hunting the cheapest new SUV in Australia for 2023? You’re usually looking at the MG ZS, Hyundai Venue and Kia Stonic at the pointy end of the bargain bin.

Drive-away deals often hover around AUD $23k–$27k depending on trim and state taxes, with list prices a whisker lower before on-roads.

Used examples 12–24 months old of the same trio commonly sit around AUD $17k–$24k, trading miles and new-car smell for better value.

They’re light on power and plushness but heavy on warranty and running-cost friendliness, which is the whole point of cheap SUVs.

As ever, compare inclusions (safety kit, AEB, sensors, screens) rather than just the sticker, and watch for drive-away promos that shuffle the pecking order.
