cheapest small car australia 2023 Page 5

Looking for the cheapest small car in Australia in 2023? Brace yourself for a parade of budget-friendly tin cans! Typically, the Mitsubishi Mirage and MG3 tussle for the title, with new prices starting around $15,000 to $18,000 AUD. Used models can drop below that, especially if you’re willing to endure some questionable past lives found on Tradingpost or CarShowroom. These cars offer decent fuel economy and are easy on the wallet, but don’t expect luxury or blistering performance.

Keep an eye out for common compromises like minimal safety tech, basic interiors, and modest power. If you want the bare necessities on wheels without selling a kidney, these are your go-to candidates.
