chery motor review Page 4

Chery these days is all about big spec for small coin, with flashy cabins, giant screens, and enough safety acronyms to play alphabet soup.

Ride and handling are perfectly civil for commuting, though keen drivers may find the tuning a touch soft and the steering more “relaxed Sunday” than “twisty-road tango.”

Value is the headline: generous equipment, keen pricing, and improving build quality that no longer feels like a gamble at the servo car wash.

Downsides? Cabin refinement can be patchy on coarse-chip roads, the dealer network is still growing, and long-term resale remains a question mark.

If you want maximum kit per dollar and can live without bragging rights, a modern Chery is a pleasantly surprising daily; just do a thorough test drive and check service costs.
