chinese size to aus Page 8

Converting Chinese clothing sizes to Australian standards is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole—sizes often run smaller and can vary wildly by brand. Generally, Chinese sizes are 1-2 sizes smaller than their Australian counterparts, so a Chinese size XL might be closer to an Aussie M or L. For shoes, a Chinese 40 roughly equals an Australian 7, but always check the centimetre measurement for the best fit.

Here's a rough guide:

• Chinese S = AUS XS
• Chinese M = AUS S
• Chinese L = AUS M
• Chinese XL = AUS L

Bottom line: Always try before you buy or consult the seller's specific size chart, especially when browsing on Tradingpost or similar sites.
