Ah, the art of colouring in cars—though if you're expecting crayons and glitter, you're barking up the wrong tree. In the automotive world, "colouring in" typically refers to paint choices, wraps, or custom finishes. The average new car in Australia offers a palette of about 10-15 standard colours, with metallic and pearlescent options often adding a few grand to the price. Custom paint jobs can range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars, depending on complexity and quality.

Used cars with unique colours might be harder to find on platforms like Tradingpost or CarShowroom, so be prepared to compromise or pay a premium. Remember, a flashy paint job won't fix a rusty chassis or mechanical woes—consult ServiceCentral for maintenance tips. So, unless you're a budding Picasso, maybe stick to choosing a colour that won't make your insurance premiums skyrocket.
