common problems with mg mg4 Page 2

The MG MG4 is a sharp-value EV, but like any new model, a few grumbles follow it around the internet carpark.

Owners and reviewers most often note:

• Software/infotainment quirks and occasional lag; over-the-air updates help.
• Driver-assist tuning that can be a bit over-eager with lane-keep alerts.
• Trim rattles or wind/road noise on coarse-chip bitumen.
• Public DC fast-charging hiccups at certain stations; usually solved by retrying or updating.
• Real-world range dipping quickly at highway speeds or in winter—common to many EVs.

The fundamentals look solid so far, and MG backs it with a 7-year warranty in Australia. Test the ADAS on your usual roads, try a local fast-charger, and make sure software and any recalls are up to date before you buy. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
