compare car loans nsw Page 20

Comparing car loans in NSW is less about chasing the lowest headline rate and more about the comparison rate, which bakes in most fees and charges.

Look at secured vs unsecured loans, typical terms of 3–7 years, and beware balloon payments that make monthly costs pretty but the finale ugly.

Check establishment, monthly and early-payout fees, and ask for the total cost in AUD over the term so you can compare apples with slightly shinier apples.

Dealer finance can be convenient; banks, credit unions and online lenders often sharpen pencils—get quotes from all and let them squabble for your signature.

Your credit score, the car’s age, and LVR will sway the rate; used cars and older models usually cost a touch more to finance in Australia.

Finally, read the contract twice, then once more aloud—NSW or not, numbers don’t care about postcodes.
