The Ford Everest in Australia comes in multiple grades with choices that actually matter, not just different badges and fancier stitching. You can pick 4x2 (RWD) or 4x4, seat five or seven, and choose between a 2.0L bi‑turbo diesel (about 154 kW/500 Nm) or a 3.0L V6 turbo‑diesel (about 184 kW/600 Nm), both tied to a 10‑speed auto. Off‑road bits include selectable drive modes and a rear diff lock on 4x4 models, so it’ll do more than just school runs and kerb-mounting. The party trick is a 3,500 kg braked towing capacity, which is perfect for dragging boats, vans, or your mate’s questionable project car. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
