configurations for mazda cx-9 Page 2

In Australia, the Mazda CX‑9 lineup typically runs from Sport and Touring to GT, GT SP, Azami, and the Azami LE.

All use a 2.5‑litre turbo petrol with a 6‑speed auto; most variants offer FWD or AWD, while the Azami LE is a 6‑seater with captain’s chairs and usually AWD only.

Seat layouts are mostly 7 seats, except the Azami LE which is 6—think school run with a hint of business class.

Climbing trims brings bigger wheels, leather, Bose audio, head‑up display, and a thicker stack of driver‑assist tech.

If you’re into the stealth look, GT SP adds the black‑pack vibe without going full night ops.

Exact inclusions vary by model year; consult official documentation for exact figures.
