configurations for subaru forester Page 12

The Subaru Forester in Australia keeps things straightforward, like a flat-pack you can actually assemble. Typical trims include:

• 2.5i AWD, 2.5i-L AWD, 2.5i Premium AWD, 2.5i Sport AWD, 2.5i-S AWD
• Hybrid L AWD, Hybrid S AWD (e-Boxer)

Most run a 2.5‑litre petrol boxer (~136 kW/239 Nm) with a Lineartronic CVT and Symmetrical AWD; the hybrids pair a 2.0‑litre boxer + electric motor for thrift over thrills.

Expect braked towing up to ~1800 kg (petrol) or ~1200 kg (hybrid), plus EyeSight safety, roomy doors and a boot that’ll swallow camping gear and buyer’s remorse alike.

If you want leather, sunroof and the lot, the S grades oblige; L and Premium are the sensible picks, and Sport adds a splash of attitude.

Consult official documentation for exact figures.
