configurations for volvo xc60 Page 2

The Volvo XC60 in Australia comes in mild‑hybrid petrol and plug‑in hybrid flavours, all with AWD and an 8‑speed automatic.

Trims typically run from Core to Plus to Ultimate, with the B5 mild‑hybrid as the sensible pick and the Recharge plug‑in hybrid for those who like their eco with extra shove.

Engines are a 2.0‑litre turbo four (B5 MHEV) and a 2.0‑litre turbo‑hybrid (T8 Recharge PHEV), the latter adding meaningful electric-only range for the weekday grind.

All are five‑seat SUVs loaded with safety tech, with options mostly around themes (Bright/Dark), suspension tunes, and plusher trims.

Key specs to know: AWD, 8‑speed auto, and mild‑hybrid or plug‑in hybrid powertrains with the expected Swedish safety nannies.
