continental tech contact 6 review Page 815

Continental’s TechContact 6 is a comfort-biased touring tyre: quiet at highway speeds, nicely cushioned over bumps, and confident in wet braking and everyday cornering.

Steering feel is tidy rather than thrilling, and the pliant sidewalls that make it comfy also mute the eager turn-in some drivers want.

Wear life is respectable for the grip on offer, provided you keep pressures in check and rotate on schedule; abuse it and it will remind you it’s not a track hero.

Pricing typically lands mid-to-premium, with value strongest on family hatches and crossovers that spend more time on school runs than mountain passes.

Alternatives worth a look: Michelin Primacy 4+ for wet longevity and Bridgestone Turanza T005A for a touch more crispness.
