cost of rwc victoria Page 26

Ah, the elusive Roadworthy Certificate (RWC) in Victoria – a necessary evil for any proud Aussie car owner looking to sell or transfer a vehicle. Expect to fork out anywhere between $100 to $200 AUD, depending on the garage and how much they enjoy your company. New or used, the price doesn't vary much, but don't be surprised if dodgy mechanics try to charge more for a quick tick-and-flick.

Keep in mind, the RWC only certifies the vehicle's safety and roadworthiness at that moment—it doesn't guarantee the car won’t fall apart the moment you hit the freeway. For more details or to shop around, check out local listings on Tradingpost or ServiceCentral.
