crosstrek reviews 2023

The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek is the Swiss Army knife of small SUVs: competent, practical, and almost annoyingly sensible. It boasts a 2.0-litre flat-four engine producing around 152 horsepower, paired with either a CVT or a six-speed manual for the adventurous. Standard all-wheel drive is the star here, making it perfect for Australia's varied terrain. Inside, it’s functional but not flashy, with decent infotainment and safety tech. Prices start around $28,000 AUD new, with used models hovering lower depending on condition and mileage.

Check out CarShowroom or Tradingpost for real-world pricing and availability, and expect a reliable, if somewhat uninspiring, daily driver with decent off-road chops.
