cube reviews Page 23

The Nissan Cube is a rolling lounge room with a license plate—boxy, comfy, and unashamedly weird in the best possible way.

Expect a small, efficient petrol engine and a CVT that prefers smooth city gliding to outback heroics; it’s more latte run than land speed record.

Cabin space is TARDIS-like, visibility is ace, and the turning circle makes car parks feel a size larger than they are.

Downsides? Crosswinds can nudge it about, the CVT drones when hustled, and as many are JDM imports in Australia, parts and safety spec can vary—so check the build plate and paperwork.

If you want practical, quirky charm and low running costs, it delivers; if you want track days, you’ve brought a beanbag to a sword fight.
