If your DJI Phantom 4 battery refuses to charge, don’t panic; it’s usually more fussy than faulty.

• Let it wake from hibernation: plug into the original charger and leave it for up to 2 hours—no button presses; it must be cool and powered off.
• Temperature matters: only charge around 5–40°C; if it’s fresh out of a hot boot or chilly esky, let it rest to room temp.
• Check the basics: use a genuine charger, clean battery/charger contacts with isopropyl, and confirm the charger outputs about 17.5 V DC.
