easy way to sell a car Page 8

Quickest way to sell a car without losing your sanity? Start by making it look loved: good clean, minor fixes, service records, and a current roadworthy if your state wants one.

Shoot bright, sharp photos from every angle, include the odometer and logbook, and write an honest ad that answers the obvious questions.

Price it using comparable listings and recent sales, and start a whisker above your walk-away number to allow for the traditional haggle.

List it on Tradingpost and other major sites, respond fast, and vet buyers with ID before test drives.

Meet in a safe public spot, accept cleared funds only, do the transfer paperwork on the spot, and cancel toll tags and insurance immediately after.

Do all that and the only thing left to sell will be your newfound free time.
