electric car rebate victoria Page 3

Victoria offers a juicy electric car rebate to nudge you away from petrol guzzlers and onto the electric highway. The Victorian Electric Vehicle Rebate provides up to $3,000 AUD for eligible new electric vehicles under a certain price cap, making your wallet a bit happier.

Keep in mind, this rebate often targets battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) below a specific threshold, so those flashy Teslas or BMW i3s might just qualify. New EVs can start around $40,000 AUD, with used ones varying widely, so check platforms like Tradingpost or CarShowroom for current deals.

Consult official Victorian government sources for the latest eligibility criteria and application process, because nothing kills enthusiasm like red tape.
