“Electric Ram 1500” means the Ram 1500 REV, a full-size ute that swaps V8 burble for volts and still wants to tow your house off its stumps. Headline claims include dual-motor AWD, battery options up to a colossal ~229 kWh, and an estimated range up to ~800 km with eye-widening towing capacity figures to match. Expect outputs around ~490+ kW and sub-five-second sprints, plus bi-directional power to run tools or the campsite espresso machine when civilisation runs out of power points. Australian launch timing and pricing are yet to be locked in, but given the size and spec sheet, brace for “premium” numbers and Yankee-sized kerb weights. Think of it as an EV built for big trailers and bigger distances—more ranch than runabout. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
