ev car rebate wa Page 118

Western Australia has recently jumped on the EV gravy train with a rebate scheme designed to coax more drivers into electric vehicles. The state government offers a $3,000 rebate for eligible new electric cars, aiming to reduce emissions and nudge you away from your petrol guzzler. Keep in mind, the rebate usually applies to vehicles priced under a certain threshold, often around $68,740 AUD, so no freebies for the flashy Teslas or Bentleys of the world.

Used EVs typically don't qualify for the rebate, so if you're hunting on Tradingpost or CarShowroom, factor that into your budget. This rebate stacks nicely with the federal incentives, making the switch to electric a bit less painful on the wallet. Always check the latest WA government resources to avoid disappointment.
