Ah, the elusive EV rebate in Queensland—Australia's sunniest state trying to sweeten the electric carrot. As of now, Queensland offers a rebate of up to AUD 3,000 for eligible new electric vehicles, aiming to zap down those pesky upfront costs. This incentive targets battery electric vehicles priced under AUD 58,000, making sure the rebate doesn't end up in the pocket of someone buying a luxury EV yacht on wheels. Remember, these schemes can change faster than a kangaroo on a trampoline, so double-check current terms with the Queensland Government or local dealers. Meanwhile, used EVs don't usually qualify for rebates, so keep your eyes peeled on marketplaces like Tradingpost and CarShowroom for deals.
