Wondering about EV tax in Victoria? The much-maligned per‑kilometre ZLEV charge was torpedoed by the High Court in 2023, so there’s currently no distance-based “EV tax” in Vic.

You’ll still cop the usual on-road costs—registration, TAC, stamp duty—and there’s no state purchase rebate anymore, but nothing extra just for driving electric.
